This seine skiff was one of the largest we have built to date. It had a 500 horse power engine with an 18″ Namjet (Traktor Jet) and performed very well. The skiff got on plane easily, was fast, and pulled very hard. The 4850 pounds of Bollard pull is more than most first generation conventional propeller skiffs pulled by more than 1000#. The extra pulling power allows the fisherman owners to pull hard when needed, but back off the throttle and save fuel when hard pulling is not required.
