“Churchill” – 42’ x 13.5’ Patrol Vessel V-berth


This boat was designed and built for the Alaska State Troopers for patrol and search and rescue duties. The troopers wanted a large platform that could handle big water, but desired the simplicity of using outboard motors for propulsion. The result is a large boat that performs well by using three main engines. This boat also has an on board diesel generator with PTO for running on board hydraulics, electric bow thruster, power inverter, hydraulic deck crane, hydraulic anchor winch, hydraulic pot puller and davit on the rail, full galley with microwave / refer / water heater / cooktop / sink / storage, and a large U-shaped dinette. The flybridge has a full control station and an antenna arch that has LED light bars and radar. This is a great platform from which the Troopers can carry out their mission while still being comfortable and very safe.

Blackstone


“Blackstone” – 32’ x 10.5’ Walk Through Cabin Style Patrol Boat


This boat was designed and built for the US Forrest Service for use in Prince William Sound, Alaska. The Forrest Service has multiple uses for their vessels in Prince William Sound and the goal of this build was to create a boat that is easy to pull up the beach and load/unload personnel to do maintenance and patrols, as well as have a boat that is comfortable for the crew of two or three to stay on the boat for several nights at a time. The result is a walk-through cabin with a beach landing door on the bow, a full galley, hot water shower, berths, and a private head. In order to create a walk-through cabin concept, but still have separate berths, a lower bunk room under the dinette was created. This boat also features a 600# capacity hydraulic crane for launching a dingy, an electric anchor windlass, law enforcement lighting and electronics, and a transom door for easy dock access. Overall, this build is a high performance patrol vessel that is also a comfortable overnight platform to allow crew to plan multi-day trips.

Trooper


“Trooper 27 x 9 (Yakutat)” – 27’ x 9’ T-Top Console Patrol Boat


This boat was designed and built for the Alaska State Troopers for daily patrols in and around the Yakutat, Alaska area. The T-top console was provided with a roll-up canvas enclosure to keep the operators out of the elements as well as a pair of Shoxs suspension seats with 8″ of vertical travel to keep the crew comfortable and alert on long days patrolling in rough weather. This vessel handles extremely well in rough water and offers a very economical operating range with the 150 hp class outboards.

“Ghost” – 26.5’ x 8.5’ T-Top Console Patrol Vessel with Wing Tube Air-D collar


This boat was designed and built for the Alaska State Troopers for daily patrols and search and rescue missions. The T-Top accommodates two officers and has a roll-up canvas enclosure to keep them out of the elements. The Twin Suzuki’s provide an economical cruise that keeps operating costs low. The main unique feature of this vessel is the Wing Tube Air-D fender collar that protects this hull and the hulls of the boats that the officers board on a daily basis.
