“Blackstone” – 32’ x 10.5’ Walk Through Cabin Style Patrol Boat

This boat was designed and built for the US Forrest Service for use in Prince William Sound, Alaska.  The Forrest Service has multiple uses for their vessels in Prince William Sound and the goal of this build was to create a boat that is easy to pull up the beach and load/unload personnel to do maintenance and patrols, as well as have a boat that is comfortable for the crew of two or three to stay on the boat for several nights at a time.  The result is a walk-through cabin with a beach landing door on the bow, a full galley, hot water shower, berths, and a private head.  In order to create a walk-through cabin concept, but still have separate berths, a lower bunk room under the dinette was created.  This boat also features a 600# capacity hydraulic crane for launching a dingy, an electric anchor windlass, law enforcement lighting and electronics, and a transom door for easy dock access.  Overall, this build is a high performance patrol vessel that is also a comfortable overnight platform to allow crew to plan multi-day trips.
